This micro chip is was created by Jung-Chih Chiao a professor at the University of Texas Arlington. These micro chips are so small that you could fit 10 of them on a single grain of rice. It is a mere 100 microns thick. He came up with this idea in his backyard trying to catch wind gusts. They envision selling a hundred of them per pack. A few thousand of these windmills could power a small family home.
