Biggest Slide I've Ever Seen

Verruckt is the name of the new waterslide opening up at Schlitterbahn Waterpark. It is different than Brazil's Insano because it is so much bigger in height. Standing at 17 story's tall it is taller than the Statue of Liberty and Niagra Falls. The name of the guy who created this beast is Jeff, but everybody calls him "Wizard of Water." I would definitely like to go on this ride if I get the chance. I would like to ride this ride, because I would be able to say I rode it.

1. Extensive: The football field is extensive.
2. Hurtling: When I was playing football the kid hit me and I went hurtling through the air.
3. Illuminate: When I turn on the light it will illuminate the room.
4. Mulling: I am mulling about playing baseball.
5. Propelled: When my dad hit the gas in his boat it propelled us and we almost crashed.
6. Radical: Some people have radical effects.
7. Speculate: I speculate that we will win the conference championship.
8. Surpasses: That trees height surpasses the height of normal trees.
9. Welded: The group of people welded together and stopped arguing.

The New Micro Chip

This micro chip is was created by Jung-Chih Chiao a professor at the University of Texas Arlington. These micro chips are so small that you could fit 10 of them on a single grain of rice. It is a mere 100 microns thick. He came up with this idea in his backyard trying to catch wind gusts. They envision selling a hundred of them per pack. A few thousand of these windmills could power a small family home.


1. Arduous: I didn't like that path it was to arduous.
2. Assert : I assert that I am going to play in the MLB when I grow up.
3.Contemplate: I contemplate my homework some nights.
4.Durable: Ford trucks are supposed to be very durable.
5. Harnessing : I am harnessing electricity.
6. Patent : Most things that are made are patent.
7. Prototype : The baseball bat I use is a prototype.
8. Wafer : I want a wafer right now.
9. Withstand: I will withstand the force when it hits me.
