Technology!!

This quarter, in technology class, I learned all kinds of different things. I learned how to make things on excel, and I also learned how to make a blog. This class has improved my typing skills too! I learned about input and output devices. Before this class I knew a little bit about them, but now I definitely know a lot more. I loved how everyday we could come in and see the week. This way I would know almost exactly what we are doing and I can get started immediately. I also like how if I finish early or am finished with a project, I am allowed to play games. I love how Mrs. Debolt doesn't expect everyone to know everything. She just wants everyone to try their best and listen! Something I disliked in this class was nothing!! Well, actually I disliked the tests, but since we have to take them in every class it's not that much of a difference. One thing Mrs. Debolt could change would be that if we have a test coming up, the day before we could maybe play a game or something to help study.

Racing to Technology

Everyday Macey has first hour P.E and I have first hour C.A. Most days I beat her and get to technology first, but today she beat me! I came out of my first class and she was already at her locker, almost done. I still had to go to mine and get my gym clothes. As Macey was darting down the stairs to try to beat me, she got distracted and told her friend something. That gave me a little headstart! She rushed to catch up with me and we got to technology at almost the same time! I was just a little behind her because I didn't want to get in trouble for running. We were both scrambling around in our binders trying to get our flashdrives and get to the computer first. I had trouble getting my flashdrive in so she beat me to the blog post, but I ended up winning because her computer froze!

Which Door?

I was thinking and thinking...which door? Which door was going to take me where? I could end up in the middle of a deserted island, or even a jungle for all I know! I am really scared and worried about what all these places are. I think I will chose Narnia. I think I remember watching a movie about Narnia when I was younger. It sounds pretty safe to me, but then again I haven't seen that movie in a long time. I think I remember that in Narnia, the door takes you to a snowy place. I would really love to go there and see the beautiful sights and smell the amazing smells of the trees.     I did decide to go there and it was beautiful! The smell was wonderful! The snow was so wonderful, and beautiful! It was a bright, sparkling, fluffy white. I'm so glad I picked the door to Narnia!

House of Germs

My house is full of germs! Almost everyone in the whole house is sick. Except me! Even my dog is sick. My mom and Jason have both stayed home from work for the past 3 days. They don't look very good either. I was sent to my room and I could barely come out. My room was one of the safe places because no one sick has come into my room and touched things. Whenever I came out of my room I had to be very careful at what I touched. If they touched something and then I did and then touched my nose or mouth I could get sick too. It seemed like every time I saw my mom, she was telling me to go wash my hands again. Asking if I had washed them lately. It is so hard to try not to get sick with a house full of sick people!

The Robber

About a week ago, a robbery took place at my house. The robbers came in and took just about everything. They took our couch, our TV, the computer. Everything. I woke up and I was terrified. I came downstairs to get something to drink. At first I didn't realize anything was gone, but then I turned around and everything was missing. I ran upstairs to my parents' room, screaming. They told me to just calm down and they would call the police. Once they got there they inspected every room in the house. In my room they found that all my clothes and everything except my bed was gone. That scared me even more. To know that strangers had been in my room while I was sleeping. Once they started to inspect the living room, they found that there was one item that they left. They say it doesn't mean much.....but to me it's a clue.

High Impact

I am so excited! This weekend, on Sunday, I have my first volleyball practice. A couple weeks ago I tried out for a select team called High Impact and I made it! I think my first practice is going to be so fun! I think this because one of my really good friends, Maggie, made the team too! Now we are finally on a volleyball team together. We have been waiting a long time to be together. To make sure we both made the team, every time that I spent the night at her house or she stayed at mine we would play volleyball and practice. We would practice even more if we were just alone too! I guess all that practice payed off! We will get to play together with our team all the way until the beginning of April! I can't wait!

Thanksgiving Gone Wrong

For my first Thanksgiving as host, I bought the biggest turkey in the store. I was so excited to finally be the host this year! It is really stressful though because I had to buy a turkey and make sure I have enough room for everyone to be able to have a seat. I put the turkey in the oven, and started to set the tables as I waited. After the tables were all set, the turkey still wasn't done, so I decided to decorate even more! When the turkey was almost done, the family started to arrive one by one. Once everyone got there, the turkey still didn't look done so I started to visit with everyone. I completely lost track of time and forgot about the turkey. Soon the kitchen started to get very smokey! My turkey was burning! Luckily it didn't cause a fire. We ended up having to have something else for dinner. And that's why we all ate hamburgers.

Big Day

The picture of the measuring tape reminds me of the time that I had to get measured for my step-sister's big day! We were getting measured for her wedding! We had to go to a store that was kind of far away. The dress I had to get measured for was a beautiful long pink, ruffled dress. It would flow too. Whenever we got measured and they had approximated our dress size, we got to try on that size. Since they didn't have any of my size in the pink, I had to try on a yellow one. I guess it didn't matter though because it wasn't the dress I would be wearing in the wedding. Then I remember after we were finished we went out and got something to eat, and then just hung out together. It was really fun! Then finally her big day was here and I was so excited to wear my pretty dress.

Honolulu

I remember when I was 5, I went to Hawaii. It was so much fun! I went with my mom's side of the family and we went to I think 4 islands. The only ones I can remember the names of are The Big Island, Maui, and Honolulu. For me just riding the plane was exciting because going to Hawaii was my very first plane ride. The plane ride to Hawaii took about 8 and a half or 9 hours. It was kinda fun though because I got to sit by the window and watch. I thought that it was awesome seeing the plane rise and fall. When we were there we did all kinds of really fun things. We swam with dolphins and we got to go shopping at all kinds of really cool places. My favorite though was getting to go to the beach all the time. The sunset on the beach was so pretty! I wish I could go to Hawaii again!!

New Member

For as long as I can remember I have begged my dad to get me a dog. For Christmas of 2009 he finally did. When I went to open my presents under the tree I opened a box of dog treats and we took them to go pick out a dog. Once we got there I saw and played with many dogs. After looking around for a long time I finally found the one that I wanted to be mine. She was a Golden Lab and when I had went over to play with her she was very excited to see me and kept licking me. I got to take her home and name her. After a long time I had decided that I thought Chloe was a good name for her. I have had her now for three years and I still love her very much! A couple weeks ago one of my dad's friend's dog had puppies and we got to go look at them. My dad saw one that he really liked and said that once it got old enough we would probably get to keep it. It's face had what looked like a mask on and that is what really made it stand out above all the other puppies to us. My dad and me thought of a really cool name if we do get to have the puppy. If we do get to keep the adorable puppy then we decided that we would want to name it Bandit. We thought of that name as soon as we saw the little guy! I can't wait!

Halloween

Last night was Halloween night, the night that is supposed to be full of scares and candy. After I got home from school yesterday I had to wait for my little cousin to get home. I had promised that she could be there when I start to get ready to go trick-or-treating. Once she got off the bus we started pulling our costumes out of the closets and bags not wanting to wait to get them on. I was  a girl from the 50's and my little cousin was Cleopatra. I had to help her get on her dress and wig and once I finally got it on her she looked so adorable. Now it was time to put my costume on. I had to put on my poodle skirt and a pink shirt. After I was finished getting dressed it was time to do my hair. I started to heat up the curling iron and I brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail. Once we were all finished getting ready it was time to go trick-or-treating. I met at my friend's house and we walked for a few hours. We got lots of candy! We got Reese', Twix, Snickers, M&M's, and many yummy others! I had a great time going trick-or-treating on Halloween night with all my friends!

Movie Time

The picture of the railroad tracks remind me of a time when I was little. It was around Christmas time and my whole family was at my house to celebrate. The little kids, which at the time would be my cousins and I, ran into the living room anxious for the movie. To get the Christmas spirit going we watched the "Polar Express." I remember my cousins and I were all snuggled up together on the couch wrapped in many blankets. Our grandmother would bring us all hot chocolate and once our cup was empty she would be there again to fill it back up. Once the movie was over we would get to go and open our presents, so as being little kids as soon as the movie was over we all raced downstairs to get to the presents. There was many piles under the tree and we could not wait to rip them open.

About Me

My name is Jenna Myers. I am 12 years old and I have no siblings at all. I do have a step-sister and a step-brother though. One of my favorite things to do is read. I also like to text my friends, listen to music, and play volleyball. I have 2 pets. I have a Golden Lab(dog) named Chloe and I also have a Maltese(dog) named Charlie. My favorite school subject so far is math and I'm thinking that I am going to like technology too. I think whenever i finally have FACS I will like that class very much. My favorite colors are blue, lime green, and hot pink.

 I think this class is one of the funner classrooms. Before this class I did not even know how to make a power point. I can also type alot faster than before. Doing power points was the funnest thing I think. I did not even know how to make a graph and now I know how to. Iwish I could just stay in this class. I liked playing all the games in this class to. I also learned how to use a flashdrive. This class is awsome.

 This movie would be the best movie because it would be hlarious and action packed. The would come flying up to you and just start hitting you with their fins. The person would be like oh hello Mr.shark and the shark would be like grrrrrr and would start slpping him in the face with his fins. Other people would be scared to death and some people will just laugh at the other people.Th e sharks would take over the world and use us as slaves.

 My family and I went to a car cruise on main street. All of the cars were amazing and shiney. They all did burnouts and did wheelies. There was smoke everywhere and it smelled like burnt rubber. My favorite car was a 1974 camaro z28. It was black with a metalic blue stripe on the bottem. There were some huge trucks and of the engines in the car died.

 I would get everyone together and make them puy put all the codes together. We would all try to figure out what it says and see if it says where she is. I f she is playing a prank on them or if someone really took her or not. We would go to the police tell them what is wrong and show them the notes and grt a scientist to look at the puzzeles.

 Me and my dad always go fishing at my grandad's house or my uncles's farm. I love fishing foe trout or bass. But my favorite is bass because they are so big. last year my dad cought a 7 pound bass and an 8 pound bass. I cought a 5 pound bass. I also cought a turtle. I cought alot of blue gill and they tasted good.

I used to live in Virginia so I lived close to the beach. I would always want to go there with my friends and family. I liked swimming there and my favorite thing to do was to build a sand castle it was somuch fun. There was this time were my uncle came down to the beach and we buried in sand we thought about leaving him there for a while but he got out.I always hated the crabs. Ithink they had something against me.

When I was a little kid I was always wandering aruond and I found a tape measurer. All I would do with it is play with it and measur things with it.I would get mad if someone took it away from me. If they did take it away from I would get mad and sad but then Iwould end finding it somehow. I still play them todat somtimes if I am really boerd.

 When I got my dog I was so happy. I liked taking him on walks. I like to sleep with him but he is so big he takes up the whole bed. He just had surgery on his yesterday he broke his nail. He was limping everywhere. Every time we try to clip his nails he freaks out and bags us against the wall. It is horrible. He is all better now though, he still will not clip our nails.

If I could bottle up a memory it would be the first time I went mud bogging. If I did have a bottle like that I would open it alot and never lose it. I would be able  to see when I got stuck and how I got out. I could see the mud flying every where. My family would be in the backround watching me and luahfing at me the whole time. When hurricane Issac hit us in Festus some people were inside, but I was outside getting muddy.My dad got in his truck getting the gooy and I was on the 4 wheeler getting ready. When dad was done I went out going crazy. I was sliding everywere. I was doing donuts,power slides and jumping. It was so much fun. I love mud bogging.

I think that India is crazy. They are just throwing girls out like they are trash. If I was a girl I would not go over there. They need to do somthing about this. End of the year

My 7th grade school year is almost over can't wait. There are 3 more days of school left. When school ends there will be no more homework. Six Flags

Six flags is a awsome place to go during the summer. There is a waterpark a bunch of water rides to cool off. The ride that I think is the best is The Super man. I have a lot of fun at Six Flags they have good food. My favorite show is at the saloon. Six flags is the second best park the best is Disney World, but I'm not going to get into that.

Teachers appreciation

This week is teacher appreciation week. There are a lot of teachers I appreciate like Mrs.Uding, Mrs.Debolt, and Mr. Zuseack. They always have something for us to do so we will grow up to be smart people. If we didn't have teacher, who would help us learn? Teachers are really nice and help us with work or help us with a lesson that we don't understand.Teachers are the best!

Art is not something is on cars or trucks. Real art is when you create something that has never been created. Art can come in different shape and sizes when you look at art they are not the same. Rosie

My dog's name is Rosie. Rosie is a small dog she has mostly black hair she has tan hair on her belly. She is very good at listening, but she likes to lick a lot. During the winter I put different coat on her she looks very cute in the coat. Rosie is not scared of anything bigger than her but she is scared of anything that is smaller than her. I usally call her the rock and roll dog because during the winter she wears rock and roll coats. Rosie is the best dog I ever had.

Earth Day

Earth Day is very fun and very good. Earth Day is the day when we clean up the earth and plant new plants. For Earth Day I bought a maple tree, a pine oak tree. I walked around my subdivision and looked for trash. I filled eight bag with trash. I found a lot of spare part. Earth Day was fun for me.

School is almost out for the summer can't wait. When school ends I am going to Iowa and go see my family. When I get back from Iowa I am going to build my aircraft carrier model. After I am done building that I will build my mustang model. When school is out I do not want to think of anything that has to do with school.

When I'm done with my 12th grade year I will be going to France. When I'm in France I will try different foods and I will try to learn freanch words. Reward

There is many reward that really motivates me. One of the rewards that motivate me is a pizza party because we get t eat insted of working.Rewardd are some times very fun and some are kind of boring. Rewards are something you have to work for not something you get as soon as you come to school. Rewards are very fun insted o doing homework.

tennis and badmitten

Tennis is the best sport that I ever played it is very fun . The highest score I ever got was 9 it took about 30min.It took so long to score 9 because me and my dad are very good. I tryed badmitten to it took me about 2 days to get used to it. But after a while i was better than my whole family.

Staying Healthy

Although eating heathy is good you also have to stay healthy by working out and playing. To eat a good breakfast you have to eat meat, fruit drink a juice. To stay healthy go to the gym and work out or go outside and play for an hour a day.

What is ergonomics? Ergonomics is when you have a bad postur at a computer. One bad habit I have is sitting on the bottom of the chair . Another bad habit I have is leaning on the back of the chair. One more bad habit I have is not looking at the top of the computer.

Blurd google map

Yes i think it was justified that some images were blurred on google maps. I also have noticed blurred images on google maps. My grandpa and I were looking at google maps and saw something blurred on the map near our house. I thought it was a glitch so when I went home I looked up the same map and it still had the blurred image. So I looked at a map of my dad's house and there was a blurred image by his house.

What I Learned And Did Not Like

I did not learn a lot because I am not good with computers. I just don't know where some of the stuff is on the computer.  The directions on some of the projects that we had to do where confusing.  I did not get a lot of work done.  I just am not good with directions.I did not like this class because the computer aggravated me. My computer was allways slow and it wasn't turned on.

Cinimin Toast Crunch

That is my favorite breakfast food. I just love it so much I would die for that food. I am not fat just clearing that up right now.  The only bad thing is when I have to eat breakfast with my brother.  He smacks and slerpes his breakfast.  My parents get on to him, but he still does it. I cant even eat breakfast with him any more.

Weird Houses

We have to write about this wierd picture that she has us writing about. It looks like a whole bunch of houses stacked on top of each other.  The houses are small like some sort of dream house.  I think it is some type of church.  It looks so wierd its not even funny.  You would have to be kind of wierd to make that house.  I think it might be a barbey house where the little girl goes into the house and has tea partys with dolls.
