Technology!!

This quarter, in technology class, I learned all kinds of different things. I learned how to make things on excel, and I also learned how to make a blog. This class has improved my typing skills too! I learned about input and output devices. Before this class I knew a little bit about them, but now I definitely know a lot more. I loved how everyday we could come in and see the week. This way I would know almost exactly what we are doing and I can get started immediately. I also like how if I finish early or am finished with a project, I am allowed to play games. I love how Mrs. Debolt doesn't expect everyone to know everything. She just wants everyone to try their best and listen! Something I disliked in this class was nothing!! Well, actually I disliked the tests, but since we have to take them in every class it's not that much of a difference. One thing Mrs. Debolt could change would be that if we have a test coming up, the day before we could maybe play a game or something to help study.

Racing to Technology

Everyday Macey has first hour P.E and I have first hour C.A. Most days I beat her and get to technology first, but today she beat me! I came out of my first class and she was already at her locker, almost done. I still had to go to mine and get my gym clothes. As Macey was darting down the stairs to try to beat me, she got distracted and told her friend something. That gave me a little headstart! She rushed to catch up with me and we got to technology at almost the same time! I was just a little behind her because I didn't want to get in trouble for running. We were both scrambling around in our binders trying to get our flashdrives and get to the computer first. I had trouble getting my flashdrive in so she beat me to the blog post, but I ended up winning because her computer froze!

Which Door?

I was thinking and thinking...which door? Which door was going to take me where? I could end up in the middle of a deserted island, or even a jungle for all I know! I am really scared and worried about what all these places are. I think I will chose Narnia. I think I remember watching a movie about Narnia when I was younger. It sounds pretty safe to me, but then again I haven't seen that movie in a long time. I think I remember that in Narnia, the door takes you to a snowy place. I would really love to go there and see the beautiful sights and smell the amazing smells of the trees.     I did decide to go there and it was beautiful! The smell was wonderful! The snow was so wonderful, and beautiful! It was a bright, sparkling, fluffy white. I'm so glad I picked the door to Narnia!

House of Germs

My house is full of germs! Almost everyone in the whole house is sick. Except me! Even my dog is sick. My mom and Jason have both stayed home from work for the past 3 days. They don't look very good either. I was sent to my room and I could barely come out. My room was one of the safe places because no one sick has come into my room and touched things. Whenever I came out of my room I had to be very careful at what I touched. If they touched something and then I did and then touched my nose or mouth I could get sick too. It seemed like every time I saw my mom, she was telling me to go wash my hands again. Asking if I had washed them lately. It is so hard to try not to get sick with a house full of sick people!

The Robber

About a week ago, a robbery took place at my house. The robbers came in and took just about everything. They took our couch, our TV, the computer. Everything. I woke up and I was terrified. I came downstairs to get something to drink. At first I didn't realize anything was gone, but then I turned around and everything was missing. I ran upstairs to my parents' room, screaming. They told me to just calm down and they would call the police. Once they got there they inspected every room in the house. In my room they found that all my clothes and everything except my bed was gone. That scared me even more. To know that strangers had been in my room while I was sleeping. Once they started to inspect the living room, they found that there was one item that they left. They say it doesn't mean much.....but to me it's a clue.
